Turn hot summer days into pleasant moments in your garden with a majestic water feature. We present our latest project, in which our Kahla Moroccan limestone coping stones dress up your pool surrounds, turning your outdoor summer space into a veritable oasis of relaxation and pleasure.
This project is more than just a swimming pool; it's an invitation to escape and contemplate the beauty of man-made nature. A true haven of peace where natural elements such as the Kahla limestone blend with architectural poetry. Meticulously designed by the architect, this pool is more than just a swimming pool; it's designed to immerse you in an extraordinary sensory experience.
Every curve, every detail has been carefully thought out to offer perfect harmony between water, mineral, surrounding nature and architecture. Crafted to a special finish, the surface of the Kahla limestone gives the illusion that it has been naturally polished by the constant flow of water.
The curbstones, shaped to match the clean, organic lines of this pool, add a touch of originality and fantasy, while preserving the authentic, noble and natural character of Kahla limestone in the flamed-brushed finish. We particularly appreciate the design of the pool's overflow by the central slot created by joining two symmetrical coping stones cantilevered over the water circulation channel.
The resulting visual effect is spectacular, with the water appearing to overflow subtly to the sides of the pool, producing a framing style that's both modern and soothing.
Alternating coping stones in two finishes: one flame-brushed, the other brushed only, produces an interesting variation in nuance, reinforcing the artistic character of this work of art.
The brushed finish gives the surface of the Kahla limestone a matt texture that is pleasantly soft to the touch. Edges are slightly dropped. Very easy to clean. The innovative brushing process developed by Promomarbre's R&D team removes a number of micro-elements, leaving a natural appearance.
The brushed flamed finish we call Passirac gives the stone a fantastic texture to the touch and to the eye, characterized by an even, homogeneous appearance with a slight relief. Visually, the surface is satin-finished and slightly reflective in low-angled light. To the touch, the surface is undulating, as if eroded by a stream.
Kahla stone is compact, rich in quartz and silica. It may be slightly veined or show small fossils. This rock, extracted from the high plateaus between the Rif and Atlas massifs in Morocco, is extremely resistant to bending, weathering and temperature extremes, both mechanically and organically. Two shades are available: Kahla Light (light grey) and Kahla Dark (dark grey). This stone blends equally well into modern and rustic environments.
