Kahla grey natural stone pool surround in brushed flamed finish in Rabat, Morocco

We present you with a magnificent swimming pool made from our Kahla natural grey stone quarried by our teams in the Msoun region near Guercif in Morocco, which, in its characteristic finish, perfectly combines aesthetics and functionality.

This sublime pool surround, located in one of the capital's most exclusive districts, is embellished with Kahla limestone coping stones in a flamed-brushed finish. This finish, rarely possible on limestone as it crumbles on contact with fire, is in fact possible on this stone thanks to its extraordinary chemical-physical characteristics.

Rich in quartz and silica, the extremely resistant natural stone Kahla takes on a majestic appearance in this finish. The surface of the slabs is exposed to a flame at a very high temperature, in a uniform and controlled manner.

The micro-elements characteristic of Kahla limestone are thus exfoliated to obtain a texture of a perfectly homogeneous and slightly rough shade, offering better adherence to prevent accidental slipping around the pool. Subsequent brushing ensures that the surface is soft to the touch on bare feet, while retaining its non-slip character. The resulting texture is surprisingly attractive.

The double coping design provides a striking aesthetic effect while offering optimum functionality. Carefully assembled, they cantilever over the recirculating water channel, which overflows the pool through a slot separating the two copings. This overflow configuration creates a captivating Kahla stone contrast between the submerged inner coping, which takes on a darker hue than the outer coping.
