Discover an extremely resistant limestone "Kahla" stone, quarried in the Guercif mountains halfway between the Rif and Atlas regions of Morocco, is one of the world's few flamed stones.
The characteristic finish of the Kahla limestone gives the surface a rough, non-slip texture, while remaining smooth, making it a perfectly functional choice for exteriors, whether on the terrace or driveway of a home, or in a public square.
The Kahla stone's color and arched layout blend particularly well into the public squares of European cities, producing a sense of continuity with traditional stone. The color of the stone is initially gray, but some parts can be beige.
When the surface of the Kahla stone is given a flamed finish, the beige parts turn ochre. We find this particularity in Tarragona stone, to which Kahla stone is very similar in appearance and composition.
